How to structure piano practice

Short regular practice is more useful than rare long sessions. Split time between warm-up, reading and a difficult passage.

Practice outline

  • 2 minutes — warm-up.
  • 5 minutes — sight-reading a new line.
  • 3 minutes — repeat a difficult spot.
